The Croft-Baker family live in a late 19th century farm workers' cottage in the village of Easington, Buckinghamshire, and while the cottage is in a beautiful rural location it is too small for the growing family.
The family decided to take part in a new TV show hosted by Sarah Beeny, called Double Your House for Half the Money, which focuses on helping families like the Croft-Baker’s make the most of the space in their existing home, rather than move to a bigger property. The challenge was to increase space by up to 100%, for less money than the move to a larger home would cost.
Increasing storage space at home is where Sliderobes excels, and so it came as no surprise to us that a stunning fitted wardrobe and matching freestanding furniture would solve all sorts of space problems in one of the bedrooms.
Oatmeal coloured glassen and silver mirror wardrobe doors made all the difference in the bedroom, with gorgeous storage space created in just a day. The fitted wardrobes are complemented with Sliderobes freestanding furniture, which includes two white bedside cabinets and a white chest of drawers, all with glassen fronted drawers and tops to continue this theme throughout the bedroom.
Sliderobes specialises in creating bespoke storage solutions to suit individual style and storage requirements, so if Oatmeal glassen isn’t your thing, just have a look at our range of finishes and materials on offer – patterns, animal prints, textured finishes, or plain mirror doors if you prefer to keep things classic and simple.
At Sliderobes we know that maximising space and minimising clutter is key to a stylish and tidy home in every room, not just the bedroom. We also understand that the inside of the wardrobe is just as important as the outside and so we offer a range of accessories to make sure it reflects you and your needs – how about a tie rack? Or a five-tiered shoe rail? Or perhaps you like your gadgets and would like sensor activated LED lights in your wardrobe interior? The choice is yours.
